Senior Games 2009

Dear triathlete,

This year, the Senior Games will be organized in September 2009 in the Dutch province Zeeland, and an estimated 3.000 athletes 50 years and older from all over the world are expected to join.
Participants will compete during this Multi-sport Event in no less than 21 major sports. This event is the first of its kind in Europe, a unique opportunity for the Netherlands.

Triathlon is one of the main sports in the Senior Games 2009 program. Beneath one can find the specific information concerning the triathlon competition.

Participation
Registration is open to members of an international federation.

Distance
1/4 triathlon for men and women with the Olympic distances:
1500 meters swimming
40 km cycling race
10 km running

Conditions
The Senior Games Triathlon Championship will be held in accordance with the rules of the ITU.
