| Sierra Nevada Triathlon Granada, 24 july 2011 The famous climb of "la vuelta" will hold the first spanish triathlon of this kind. Similar to the Alpe d´Huez Triathlon. 2.500m 90km 21,1 From a reservoir close to the historic city of Granada, triathletes would ride besides the Alhambra, before the first climb of the day. The cycling finishes up in the Sierra Nevada ski resort, over the 2.300meters, and the run would almost reach the the 3.000m, makink this first edition, probably the world´s toughest triathlon!!!
